There aren't many who haven't felt the ground shift beneath their feet in the last year. Those in job search have encountered new challenges, while in-role corporate leaders wondered about the security of their companies and industries. There is a heightened sense of awareness about the external conditions that could influence professional goals, and for 18 years, the Executive Job Market Intelligence Report has provided senior-level executives, talent management leaders and executive search firm professionals with trend data, best practices and timely analysis of a fluctuating economy to direct them down fresh paths or highlight detours on less conspicuous roads that are ripe for growth.
Based on reporting from thousands of global executives, search firm consultants, corporate human resource and talent acquisition leaders, the research finds positive signs returning to the economy. Executive job creation is steadily occurring; recruiters are staffing up to prepare for assignments; companies are focused on growth; and job seekers are implementing innovative techniques to develop opportunities.
Acting as a "career GPS," this newly released report reveals:

The industries, functions and regions poised for growth
Why executive recruiters are feeling optimistic
Where companies and search firms are finding A-level leaders

The findings contained in this report are exclusive to you as an ExecuNet member - one of many expert insights we provide every day to help you and your organization succeed.
Executive Job Market Intelligence 2010 is based on simultaneous surveys of ExecuNet's executive members and the search firms and corporate recruiters who regularly use ExecuNet's services. In addition, we invited participation from the executive, search firm and corporate human resource communities of strategic partner organizations: Forbes; Financial Executives International (FEI); the Marketing Executives Networking Group (MENG); and Dillistone Systems, publishers of search-consult. The surveys, which we have conducted online annually for the past 18 years, seek to determine trends and best practices in executive-level career development and candidate search, hiring and retention. For the purpose of this research, executive-level denotes those professionals at the Director/Vice President/C-level and above with total annual compensation (salary + bonus) of $150,000 or greater.
